Established guidelines for the Ezineri-Mgbidi Community WhatsApp platform to prevent the influx of irrelevant content and spam messages.

 

1. *Respectful Communication:* Maintain a courteous tone when interacting with community members. Avoid offensive language and treat others with respect.


2. *Relevance is Key:* Share messages that are pertinent to the Ezineri-Mgbidi community. Avoid posting unrelated content to prevent clutter as Incessant posting of religious message will no longer be permitted.


3. *No Spamming:* Refrain from sending repetitive messages or excessive postings. Keep the platform free from unnecessary clutter to enhance the user experience.


4. *No Advertisements without Approval:* Seek permission before posting any promotional content or advertisements. Unauthorized promotions may be considered as spam.


5. *Mindful Media Sharing:* Only share media files that are relevant to the community. Ensure that images, videos, or documents contribute positively to the group.


6. *No Fake News:* Verify information before sharing it with the community. Avoid spreading false or misleading news to maintain the credibility of the platform.


7. *Respect Privacy:* Refrain from sharing personal information about community members without their explicit consent. Respect privacy and confidentiality.


8. *Constructive Criticism:* If you have concerns or suggestions, express them constructively. Avoid personal attacks and focus on improving the community experience.


9. *Moderation Guidelines:* Adhere to any additional guidelines set by the community moderators. Respect their decisions and work collaboratively to maintain a positive environment.


10. *Stay Informed:* Regularly check community announcements and updates. Staying informed helps in complying with the rules and regulations effectively.


11. *Name inclusion/Signing:* Attaching your name to your post/s is vital for clarity, accountability, and fostering a sense of community. It adds context, reduces misunderstandings, and builds trust among group members, facilitating smoother and more personal interactions.


My aim is for us not to infringe upon these rules but to enhance their effectiveness by employing all necessary measures to oversee the content posted on the platform.


The Chief Admin or Admin may or may not refrain from immediately deleting post/s that violate the rules and regulations. Instead, The approach is to initiate private conversations with the authors, encouraging them to remove the content themselves. Only when the writer or poster disagrees then the admin will respectfully remove the content.


In the event of a member's violation of the rules and regulations, The Admin may or may not refrain from instant removal and, instead, may or may not provide a formal warning. If the violations persist, the admin may or may not seek majority approval for the individual's removal. 

Should anyone be removed, they will be reinstated after an average of 30 days, allowing a one-month period for reflection and considering the nature of their content.


The rules and regulations may undergo amendments, edits, and additional inclusions as deemed necessary.
